Caring for those facing a crisis or an ongoing need is a privilege of the church body. Care ministry at Emmanuel Baptist is overseen by the Deacon Ministry Team. However, care is not limited to just members of this team. At Emmanuel, all are encouraged to full fill the biblical command to “love one another” (John 13:34).
Prayer Chain
Sometimes we face situations and challenges where we need the help and support of others through prayer. To request prayer or to participate in the chain contact one of our two coordinators.

H.O.M.E. (Helping Others Meeting Emergencies)
Providing a meal is a very practical way to communicated God’s love. H.O.M.E. provides meals for those facing a time of crisis or special need such as families that have just welcome a new baby into their home.
Sign-up sheets are posted on the lower lobby bulletin board when meals are being arranged to celebrate the arrival of new baby in a home. For more information or to volunteer for this hands on ministry, contact Candace Jorgenson by email or phone: 204.746.6221.
Lodge Service
Approximately four (4) times a year Emmanuel Baptist provides the worship service at the Red River Valley Lodge in Morris. Special music is always welcome but so also are people who are just willing to attend and sing along with the residents during the time of hymn singing. Families are especially welcome as children are greatly appreciated by the Lodge residents.
Lodge services are at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings are announced in advance in the weekly church bulletin. To participate, contact Norm & Melinda Bobrowski by email or phone: 204.746.6730.
