EBC Statement of Faith
We, as New Testament Baptists, affirm our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for our salvation and believe in those distinctive principles for which Baptists have lived and died, such as:
1. Soul liberty;
2. The inspired authority of the Scriptures in matters of faith and conduct;
3. The separation of Church and State;
4. The revelation of God through Jesus Christ as only Savior and Lord;
5. The virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ;
6. Regenerated church membership;
7. Believer’s baptism by immersion;
8. The congregational form of church government; and
9. The proclamation of the Gospel throughout all the world.
